heheheh....where shall I start? The cockroach in the bathroom? The whining for the handkerchief? The overcooked tomato daal? Two pregnancies? Two nephews? Teary break-ups? What part of you shall I write this testimonial for? Perhaps just tell you I love you? So here goes:
To me you are like a clear pool of silver waters -- no streaks of malice, no moldy spite. Sometimes flushed golden with intense love and loyalty, sometimes a baby blue under a sky full of dreams, sometimes a pretty pink overflowing with innocent longings. And yet, ever elusive. Not to be caught and held and scrutinized. You gently drip away if I scoop you into my hands. I could as much wish to understand the mysteries of space than to try to fathom the depths of this little pool of mischief-- my little sister.

Yet it's not a good idea to get carried away and make the blog about your family or outside interests. The whole professional vs. personal ratio also has to be calculated with your topic and target audience in mind. A good rule of thumb is: if you wouldn't say it in an email to a client, it shouldn't go up on your company's blog.
